Navigation

Q
How do I update the map?
A
You can download the latest map data by using the SD card provided with your system. > See "Updating system software."
Q
The navigation system guides me to incorrect bypasses and notifies me the position of speed cameras too late.

You can search for an alternative route by reconfiguring the route options. On the navigation screen, press Menu > Route > Route Options and set the options and search for other routes. > See "Changing the route options."
If your system is outdated, update the system's software and map data with the latest version.

Bluetooth

Q
What kinds of functions can I use with Bluetooth?
A
You can connect your mobile phone to make or answer calls hands free. You can also connect audio devices, such as MP3 players and mobile phones, to listen to music in your vehicle. > See “Making a call via Bluetooth or “Listening to music via Bluetooth.”
Q
How do I pair a Bluetooth device with the system?
A
On the All Menus screen, press Setup > Connectivity > Device Connections > Add New. From the Bluetooth device you want to connect, search for and pair with your system. When you enter or confirm a Bluetooth passkey displayed on the system screen, the device is registered to the system’s Bluetooth devices list and connected to the system automatically. > See "Connecting Bluetooth devices."
Q
I changed my mobile phone that was registered to the system via Bluetooth. How can I register my new mobile phone?
A
You can register additional devices to your system by following the instructions to pair a device. You can register up to 6 devices in the list of Bluetooth devices. To delete a registered device, on the Bluetooth devices list, press Delete Device(s), select the devices to delete, and press Delete. > See "Deleting paired devices."
Q
How do I access the contacts in my mobile phone from the system?
A
When connecting your mobile phone to your system, permit the system to access the contacts saved in the mobile phone. The contacts will be downloaded to the system. To open the downloaded contacts list, press the Call/Answer button on the steering wheel and press on the phone screen. You can search for a contact and make a call or add it to favorites. > See "Dialing from your contacts list."

Radio/media

Q
What kinds of media and radio functions does my system have?
A
Your system is enabled to play various radio services, DMB, video, and audio through various types of media (USB, iPod, AUX, etc.). For more information, see the corresponding chapters.
Q
I want to move to the previous or next song without controlling the screen while driving.
A
Use the Search lever/button on the steering wheel to move to the previous or next song.

Broadcast reception

Q
No sound is heard or a distorted noise is heard when listening to the radio while driving.
A
Depending on the location, the reception may deteriorate due to obstacles.
Attaching a window film including metal components to the rear window equipped with a glass aerial may lower radio reception.
Q
My system cannot receive DMB signals.
A
Because watching DMB while driving is prohibited for your safety, the system does not receive DMB broadcasts when you are driving. Park your vehicle in a safe location before watching DMB.
Depending on the location, the signal strength may change and the reception may deteriorate due to obstacles. A distorted noise may be generated by radio waves from electronic devices, such as mobile phones and dash cams. If the reception diminishes, press
Search on the DMB screen and search DMB channels again.

Bluelink (if equipped)

Q
What kinds of services can I use via Bluelink?
A
Bluelink provides you with various services including safety, car care, remote control, and concierge support for pleasant and comfortable driving. > See "Bluelink services."
Q
How can I subscribe to the Bluelink service?
A
You can subscribe and activate Bluelink in various ways. Visit a local dealership, a Bluelink Center, or the Hyundai website, or use the Bluelink settings menu in your system. On the All Menus screen, press Setup > Bluelink > 서비스 가입, and follow the on-screen instructions. > See "Activating the service."
If you encounter an error or failures during registration, contact the Bluelink Center (080-600-6000).

How to self-check a system fault

Q
My system does not operate normally. What should I do?
A
Check your system by referring to the solutions explained in the troubleshooting sections. > See "Troubleshooting."
If the system still does not operate normally after following the relevant instructions, press and hold the Reset button.
If the problem persists, contact one of our authorized service centers.
