Configuring the general system settings


You can customise your system environment settings, such as the time and date, the system language, and more.
  1. On the All menus screen, press Settings > General.
  1. The General settings screen will appear.
  1. Select an option to change.

Version info/Update

You can view your system′s version information or update it to the latest version.

System info

You can view the system′s storage or the QR code for accessing the system′s web manual.

Memory

You can view storage information of your system′s memory where voice memos can be saved.

Manual

You can access the web manual of the system by scanning QR codes with your smartphone.

Date/Time

You can set the current time and date or change the time display format.

GPS time

You can set the system to receive time information from the GPS.
Note
To set the time and date manually, press GPS time to deactivate this option and the current date and time under GPS time.

Time format

You can set to display the time in the 12 hour or 24 hour format.
Note
For example, when 24-hour is selected and the current time is 01:08 pm, the system will display the time as ″13:08.″

Daylight savings time

You can apply summer time.

Language

You can change the system language.
Note
  • It may take a while for the system to apply the selected language. When the change is completed, a pop-up window will appear telling you the system language has changed. Press outside the pop-up window area on the screen to close the window, or wait for a few seconds.
  • This setting will not affect user data, such as MP3 file names.

Keyboard

You can select a keyboard type for each language.

Latin keyboard type

You can select an English keyboard.

Cyrillic keyboard type

You can select a Cyrillic keyboard.

Korean keyboard type

You can select a Korean keyboard.

Default keyboard

You can select a default keyboard.
Note
This setting will be applied to all text input on your system.

Media

You can set the media player not to start automatically when starting the engine or set it to notify you of any information changes during media playback.

Radio/Media Off at vehicle start-up

You can set the media player not to start automatically when starting the engine.

Display media change notifications

You can set the system to briefly display media information at the top of the screen if the current song or channel changes when not on the main media screen.

Default

You can reset your system settings, including general settings and navigation settings, to the default values.
Caution
  • All user data stored in the system, including navigation history, will also be deleted.
  • When phone projection is active or an iPod is connected, you cannot reset the system settings. To reset the settings, remove the USB cable from your system.
