System overview

Component names and functions


The following describes the part names and controls on the control panel and steering wheel.

Control panel

Note
Depending on the vehicle model or specifications, the system components′ appearance and layout may differ from the actual product. For more information, refer to the Car Infotainment System User′s Manual that is separately provided.

Power button ()/Volume knob ()
  • Press to turn the radio/media function on or off.
  • Press and hold to turn off the screen and the sound.
  • Turn to adjust the system sound volume (except for navigation sound).
MAP button
  • Press to view a map of your current location.
  • When receiving guidance on the map screen, press to repeat voice guidance.
NAV button
RADIO button
  • Press to turn on the radio.
  • While listening to the radio, press repeatedly to change the radio mode (DAB/FM/AM).
  • Press and hold to display the radio/media selection window.
MEDIA button
  • Press to play content from a media storage device.
  • Press and hold to display the radio/media selection window.
Search backward/forward button (/)
  • While listening to the radio, press to change the station.
  • While playing media, press to change the track/file. Press and hold to rewind or fast forward (except for the AUX (if equipped) and Bluetooth audio modes).
Custom button (, )
  • Press to use a custom function.
  • Press and hold to access the function setting screen.
Setup button (SETUP, )
  • Press to access the settings screen.
  • Press and hold to access the version information screen.
Search knob (TUNE FILE, )/Enter button (ENTER)
  • While listening to the radio, turn to adjust the frequency or change the station.
  • While playing media, turn to search for a track/file (except for the AUX (if equipped) and Bluetooth audio modes).
  • During a search, press to select the current station/track/file.
  • On the map screen, turn to zoom in or out the map (if activated).
  • Press and hold to access the function setting screen.
Reset button
  • Restart the system.

Steering wheel remote control

Voice recognition button ()
  • Press to start or end voice recognition of a connected smartphone via phone projection. (The button′s operation may vary depending on smartphone specifications.)
MODE button ()
  • Press repeatedly to change the system mode (radio, media, etc.).
  • Press and hold to access the function setting screen.
Volume lever/button (+/-, +/-)
  • Press to adjust the sound volume.
Mute button ()
  • Press to mute or unmute the system (except for the navigation).
  • While playing media, press to pause or resume playback (except for the iPod mode).
Search lever/button (/)
  • While listening to the radio, press to switch between the stations on the preset list. Press and hold to search for a station.
  • While playing media, press to change the track/file. Press and hold to rewind or fast forward (except for the AUX (if equipped) and Bluetooth audio modes).
Call/Answer button (, )
  • Before Bluetooth connection: Press to start connecting a mobile phone via Bluetooth.
  • After Bluetooth connection: Press to access your call history. Press and hold to dial the most recent phone number. When a call comes in, press to answer the call.
  • During a Bluetooth call: Press to switch between the active call and the held call. Press and hold to switch the call between the system and the mobile phone.
Call end button (, )
  • During a Bluetooth call: Press to end the call.
  • After Bluetooth connection: When a call comes in, press to reject the call.
