Turning on the FM radio

Scan and listen to FM radio stations. Save your preferred stations to the favorites list.
  1. Perform any of the following methods:
  • On the Home screen, press Media.
  • On the control panel, press the [MEDIA] button.
  • If multiple media are connected, on the control panel, press and hold the [MEDIA] button.
  1. On the Media Home screen, press FM.
  • Press on the screen or press the [SEARCH] button on the control panel, enter a search term, and then select the item to run.
  • The screen may differ depending on the vehicle model and specifications.

FM screen

  1. Change the radio mode.
  1. Displays a list of available stations.
  1. Change the media mode.
  1. Displays the FM player screen.
  1. Displays the list of menus.
  1. Scan FM: Select a station of your choice after listening briefly to stations from different radio stations.
  • Scan FM, you can scan through stations and listen to each for 5 seconds.
  1. Refresh: Refreshes the list of stations.
  2. Tune FM Manually: Manually adjust the radio frequency.
  3. Save All: Saves all available stations to Favorites.
  4. Radio Noise: Customize sound quality by adjusting background noise of the original sound while listening to radio.
  5. Kakao i Search History: View the music you recently searched using a music search service.
  1. Sound Settings: Displays the system sound settings screen.
  2. Online Manual: View the online manual by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone.

FM player screen

  1. Closes the Media player.
  • The Media player can also be closed by swiping the screen down.
  1. Change the frequency.
  1. Delete or save the current frequency to Favorites.
  1. Displays a list of available stations.
  1. View information about the music currently on the air (if equipped).

Changing the FM radio stations

Perform any of the following methods:
  • On the FM screen, press the desired station.
  • On the FM player screen, press the frequency change button.
  • On the control panel, press the [ SEEK] or [TRACK ] button.
  • Use the TUNE button on the control panel to search for the desired station. If the TUNE button on the control panel is pressed within 5 seconds after search begins, the current station being scanned plays. If there is no input for 5 seconds, the search stops and the currently playing station is displayed.
  • On the steering wheel, press the move button up or down.

Favorites screen

  1. Displays a list of stations saved in Favorites.
  1. Change the media mode.
  1. Displays the FM player screen.
  1. Displays the list of menus.
  1. Radio Noise: Customize sound quality by adjusting background noise of the original sound while listening to radio.
  2. Edit Favorites: Delete the list of saved stations.
  3. Sound Settings: Displays the system sound settings screen.
  4. Online Manual: View the online manual by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone.

Adding a favorite station

Perform any of the following methods:
  • On the FM screen, press .
  • On the FM player screen, press .
  • You can save all stations, accessible from the FM screen, to the favorites list. On the FM screen, press ► Save All.
  • If the favorites list is full, some stations will not be saved to the list.

Changing the favorite station

Perform any of the following methods:
  • On the Favorites screen, press the desired station.
  • On the control panel, press the [ SEEK] or [TRACK ] button. If you press and hold the button, stations are quickly scanned.
  • Use the TUNE button on the control panel to search for the desired station. If the TUNE button on the control panel is pressed within 5 seconds after search begins, the current station being scanned plays. If there is no input for 5 seconds, the search stops and the currently playing station is displayed.
  • On the steering wheel, press the move button up or down.

Deleting the favorite station

Perform any of the following methods:
  • On the FM screen, press .
  • On the FM player screen, press .
  • On the Favorites screen, press ► Edit Favorites. Alternatively, from the Favorites screen, press and hold on anywhere on the station list, select the station to delete,and then press Delete.
