Listening to radio

Activating radio mode

Depending on the vehicle's options or sales country, some functions and image may be different from the actual product. (Ex. DAB mode, etc.)

1. Press the [RADIO] button on the head unit. Or press [Radio] on the home screen.
2. The last listened mode among DAB(if equipped)/FM or AM plays.

,Note

Press the [RADIO] button on the head unit to change to the desired mode. Each time a button is pressed, the radio mode is switched.

Selecting the station

Manually selecting the station

• In AM mode, turn the [TUNE/FILE] button on the head unit to select the station.
• In FM mode, press [Menu] > [Manual tune FM].

Automatically selecting the station

Press [SEEK W]/[TRACK S] button on the head unit to search the station.

Station list

You can see broadcast station list with superior reception.

1. Press the desired radio mode.
2. Press [Station list]. Or press [Menu] > [Station list].

3. Press the desired broadcast station.

• [+]: Save the frequency to favourites.

,Note

In AM mode, press [Menu] > [Refresh] to automatically search for stations with good reception. In FM mode, press [Menu] > [Sort by] to sort the list by station or program type.

Radio broadcast favourites

Press [Favourites], then select the station you want to listen to.

Saving the station to favourites

Save the desired station to favourites.

1. Press the desired radio mode.
2. Select a station desired to save.
3. Press [Menu] > [Save as favourite].

,Note

Press and hold [+] on the favourites screen to save the station to favourites. When the station is saved on a favourites of which another station has already been saved, the previously saved station is erased.

Deleting the favourites

1. Press the desired radio mode.
2. Press [Menu] > [Delete favourites].

3. Select the desired item, press [Delete] > [Yes].

Scanning broadcast station

All stations are scanned, and only stations with good reception are played every 5 seconds.

1. Press the desired radio mode.
2. Press [Menu] > [Scan AM] or [Scan].

,Note

When the scan is operating, pressing the controller will stop the function and remain on the stopped station.

Radio FM noise cancellation

1. Press [Menu] > [Radio FM noise cancellation] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.
2. For more details, refer to the "Sound settings".

TA on/off

When the TA(Traffic Announcement) function is selected, real-time traffic and guidance information is automatically received.

1. Press [Menu] > [TA] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.
2. When traffic announcement is received, a pop-up message is displayed.

Info - DAB only

You can view the slide show image information when image information is available from the broadcasting station on the DAB mode.

Press [Menu] > [Info] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.

,Note

The [Info] may not be displayed if there is no information being transmitted by the broadcasting station.

Programme guide - DAB only

You can view the programme information and the broadcasting station schedule provided by DAB.

Press [Menu] > [Programme guide] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.

Regional on/off

When the receiving signals from the current station become weak, the station switches to another station.

Press [Menu] > [Regional] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.

DAB/FM switching

This function allows the current DAB broadcasting is disconnected, find the same FM broadcasting automatically.

When listening the FM radio, the system automatically switches to DAB when it finds the same DAB broadcasting.

Press [Menu] > [Switch DAB/FM] in DAB(if equipped)/FM mode.
