Driver assistance (If equipped)

1. Press SETUP > Vehicle > Driver assistance.

   

   • []: Changes the view type as a list or an image.

2. Select the desired items.

   • SCC (Smart Cruise Control) (If equipped): Sets the properties of the SCC (Smart Cruise Control) system.

     • Link to drive mode: Links the acceleration and response speed of the SCC system to the current drive mode.

     • Based on driving style: Sets the acceleration and response speed of the SCC system based on the collected data.

     • View driving style analysis: The system analyzes the driving style based on the collected data. You can adjust the value manually.

   • SCC response (If equipped): Adjusts the responsiveness of smart cruise control to the acceleration of a leading vehicle. You can select Fast, Normal, or Slow.

   • Driving Convenience: Sets the properties of the driving assistance system. Check the items you want to set.

     • SCC (Smart Cruise Control) (If equipped): Sets the properties of the SCC (Smart Cruise Control) system.

     • LFA (Lane Following Assist) (If equipped): Automatically adjusts the steering wheel to keep the vehicle centred in the lane.

     • HDA (Motorway Driving Assist): Assists driving on a highway according to the set speed and distance to the leading vehicle while keeping the vehicle centered in the lane.

     • Lane change assist (motorway): Assists lane changes on a highway when the driver uses the turn signal.

     • Speed zone slowdown (motorway) (If equipped): Automatically decelerates in a highway speed enforcement zone.

     • Curve slowdown (motorway) (If equipped): Automatically decelerates in a highway curve zone.

     • Auto motorway speed change: Automatically decelerates before entering motorway speed enforcement zones.

     • Speed limit warning: Displays the current speed limit.

   • Speed limit: Sets the speed limit system.

     • Select country: Selects the country for the speed limit system.

     • Speed limit tolerance: The deviation from the speed limit, above or below which, a warning is provided.

     • Auto speed change: Automatically adjusts the vehicle speed on motorways according to the current speed limit.

     • Speed limit assist: Adjusts the vehicle speed to the current speed limit of the road.

     • Speed limit warning (If equipped): Provides a warning when the current speed limit is exceeded.

     • Speed limit information: Displays the current speed limit.

     • Off: Disables speed limit function.

   • Driving Safety Off in N mode/[] (If equipped): Automatically disables driving safety systems when N mode is selected.

   • Warning timing/[] (If equipped): Sets when to provide a warning for features such as driver attention warning and forward safety. You can select Normal or Late.

   • Warning methods/[]: Sets the warning methods for the driver assistance systems.

     • Warning volume: Adjusts the warning sound volume.

     • Haptic warning (If equipped): Adjusts the intensity of the steering wheel vibration warning.

     • Haptic warning (If equipped): Activates the steering wheel vibration warning.

     • Speed limit warning sound (If equipped): Enables the speed limit warning sound.

     • Speed limit change notification sound (If equipped): Enables the speed limit change notification sound.

     • Driving safety priority (If equipped): Lowers the all other audio volume during playback of a driving safety sound warning.

     • Parking safety priority: Lowers the audio volumes when the shift lever is set to reverse.

   • DAW (Driver Attention Warning): Adjusts the properties of the DAW (Driver Attention Warning) system. You can select High sensitivity, Normal sensitivity, or Off.

     • Leading vehicle departure alert: Notifies the driver when the leading vehicle is driving away.

     • Forward attention warning: Assists in collision avoidance. The system provides a warning and actively controls the vehicle when a risk of forwarding collision is detected.

     • Swaying warning: Warns driver inattentiveness and gives a recommendation of rest in needed.

   • Driving safety (If equipped): Adjusts the properties of the driving safety system.

     • Forward safety: Provides a warning and vehicle control when a risk of forward collision is detected.

     • Forward Safety Warning Timing: Sets the warning timing of the forward safety function.

     • Forward cross-traffic safety: Provides assistance and warning when risk of forward cross-traffic collision is detected.

     • Forward/side safety: Avoids collision when a risk of forward or side collision is detected.

     • Lane safety: Automatically adjusts of the steering wheel to keep the vehicle within the boundaries of its lane.

     • Blind-spot safety: Provides a warning and emergency braking when a risk of blind-spot collision is detected while exiting.

     • Blind-spot view monitor: Displays the blind-spot view in the cluster when changing lanes using the turn signal.

     • Exit safety: A warning is provides when detecting the traffic on the blind-spot and disables the door unlock.

   • Forward safety (If equipped): Sets forward safety warning system.

     • Forward cross-traffic safety: Assists in collision avoidance by providing a warning and vehicle control when a risk of forwarding cross-traffic collision is detected.

     • Active assist: Collision avoidance by the provision of a warning and vehicle control when a risk of forwarding collision is detected.

     • Warning only: Provision of a warning when a risk of forwarding collision is detected.

     • Off: Disables forward safety function.

   • Lane safety (If equipped): Sets lane safety system.

     • Active assist: Blind-spot is displayed in the cluster when changing lanes using the turn indicator.

     • Assist: Helps safe exiting from the vehicle by detecting traffic in the blind spot and providing a warning.

     • Warning only: Gives a warning when detecting traffic in the blind spot.

     • Off: Disables lane safety function.

   • Blind-spot safety (If equipped): Sets the blind-spot safety system.

     • Blind-spot view monitor: Displays the blind-spot view in the cluster when changing lanes using the turn signal.

     • SEA (Safe Exit Assist): Assists occupants in safely exiting the vehicle by detecting traffic in the blind-spot and providing a warning.

     • SEW (Safe Exit Warning): Sets safe exit warning.

     • Active assist: Assists in collision avoidance by providing a warning and vehicle control when a risk of blind-spot collision is detected.

     • Warning only: Provides a warning when a risk of blind-spot collision is detected.

     • Off: Disables blind-spot safety function.

   • Parking safety: Sets the parking safety system.

     • Camera settings: Goes to camera settings menu.

     • Surround view monitor auto On: Automatically activates surround view monitor when parking distance warning is active.

     • Auto PDW (Parking Distance Warning): Automatically activates parking distance warning when travelling at low speeds.

     • Forward/Side safety: Helps avoid collision by providing a warning and vehicle control when a risk of forward or side collision is detected.

     • Rear safety: Provides a warning and emergency braking when a risk of rear collision is detected while reversing.

     • Active rear assist: Assists in collision -avoidance by providing a warning and vehicle control when a risk of collision is detected while backing up.

     • Rear warning only: Provides a warning when a risk of collision is detected while backing up.

     • Off: Disables parking safety function.

     • Rear cross-traffic safety: Assists in collision avoidance by providing a warning and vehicle control when a risk of rear cross-traffic collision is detected while backing up.

   • Parking Distance Warning vol. (If equipped): Sets the volume of the parking distance warning beep sound.
