Move to Device connections setting screen

Press [Setup] > [Device Connections] > [Device Connections] on the home screen. Device connections setting screen opens.

Device connection

In device connections setting screen, press [Device Connections].

1 Registered device list

It displays the list of registered Bluetooth devices. When you select Bluetooth device list, it connects or disconnects the device.

2 Bluetooth audio connection status

When Bluetooth audio is connected, icon is activated.

3 Bluetooth hands-free connection status

When Bluetooth hands-free is connected, icon is activated.

4 Add

Register a new Bluetooth device.

5 Delete

Deletes registered device.

Message Notification

The function of message notification can turn on or off.

In device connections settings screen, turn [Message Notification] on or off.

Depending on the model of the connected Bluetooth device, may not be supported.

Predefined Messages

You can check and change registered reply messages.

1. In device connections setting screen, press [Predefined Messages].

2. Press [Replies to Text] or [Reject Call Replies] and select the registered message.
3. Enter the message and press [OK].

Privacy Mode

It sets Privacy Mode to protect personal information.

If you set the privacy mode, contacts, call history, favorites, and messages list are not displayed to protect your privacy.

In device connections settings screen, turn [Privacy Mode] on or off.

Activate Vehicle's Bluetooth Audio

You can make settings related to Bluetooth audio switching.

1. In device connection setting screen, Press [Activate Vehicle's Bluetooth Audio].

2. Press a desired item.

• [No Automatic Activation Allowed from Smartphone] : Activates Bluetooth Audio only through the Navigation system.
• [Activate Automatically from Smartphone] : Activates Bluetooth Audio automatically when playing media from a paired smartphone.

Bluetooth System Info

You can check or change Bluetooth hands-free vehicle name.

Vehicle name

1. In device connections setting screen, press [Device Info] > [Vehicle name].
2. After changing, press [OK].

Passkey

1. In device connections setting screen, press [Device Info] > [Passkey].
2. Enter a new passkey.

,Reference

The passkey is a 4-digit authentication code used for a Bluetooth connection between the mobile phone and car system. The default passkey is set to '0000'.

Phone Projection Settings

1. Press [Menu] > [Phone Projection Settings] on the device connection screen.

Phone projection settings screen is displayed.

2. Select function to connect.

You can not change the Phone projection setting while the USB cable is connected.

iPod Settings

1. In device connection setting screen, Press [iPod Settings].

2. Press a desired item.
